Oak & Ember joins the Home & Gift Association

Meet the Bristol based drinks accessories brand bringing thoughtful design, practical products and a love of good spirits to the independent retail market.

A new HGA member with a passion for great drinks, good design and memorable gifting

We're delighted to welcome Oak & Ember to the Home & Gift Association.

Based in Bristol, the premium drinks accessories brand was founded by friends Ben and Lewis and is now looking to grow its wholesale presence with independent retailers, garden centres and gift shops across the UK.

While whisky is where the story began, Oak & Ember has developed a range designed for spirits lovers more broadly, with products that work particularly well for gifting occasions including birthdays, Father's Day, retirements and best man gifts.

Born from a delayed flight and a shared love of whisky

The idea for Oak & Ember came together on a delayed flight home from the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival.

Ben and Lewis had been making the annual trip for years, visiting distilleries, discovering new drams and immersing themselves in the whisky world. Starting their own distillery was the original dream, but without the funding to make that happen, the conversation turned to what else they could bring to the industries they loved.

Ben brought a background in purchasing and Lewis brought experience in graphic design. Together, that combination of commercial thinking and creativity became the foundation for Oak & Ember.

Meet the range

Starting with a problem worth solving

Oak & Ember's flagship product, the Flight Flask, was created to solve a very practical problem for people travelling with their favourite spirits.

Glass can be risky to travel with, while traditional steel flasks can affect the taste of what's inside. The Flight Flask was designed as an alternative, giving whisky, gin and rum drinkers a practical way to take their favourite drink with them without compromising the experience.

It's now available in five colourways, including Cherry Red and Forest Green alongside the original black.

More than whisky accessories

Alongside the Flight Flask, Oak & Ember's growing collection includes heavy weighted tumblers, Whisky Stones, ice cube moulds, Traveller Sets and wine cooler sleeves.

For independent retailers

Oak & Ember is growing its wholesale community

Oak & Ember is actively looking to work with more independent retailers, garden centres and gift shops as it grows its wholesale channel.
