There is a whole lot of JOY coming from HGA member Woodvale Studios! After more than a decade of creating beautiful products for leading retailers and brands, the talented team has launched its very first own-label collection, and it is bursting with colour, personality and thoughtful details.

First unveiled at Home & Gift Harrogate in July 2026, JOY brings the exquisite illustrations of Catherine Lewis Design to life across stationery, gift bags and gorgeous gifts for everyday living. The story continued at Top Drawer A/W 26 in September with the arrival of JOY: The Gold Edit, putting the collection's signature golden accents firmly in the spotlight.

A collection full of character

Florals, stripes and a little touch of gold

One of the things we love most about JOY is the way every design feels like part of the same family without looking exactly alike. Olive, aubergine, pink and coral create a rich, joyful palette, while flashes of gold add an extra touch of luxury.

Beautiful florals sit alongside bold, contemporary stripes. Sometimes the stripes form the perfect backdrop; elsewhere they take centre stage, with a floral detail tucked away on a strap or waiting to be discovered. It is the kind of considered design that makes even the smallest accessory feel special.

Gifts customers will love giving and keeping

From thoughtful little treats to statement accessories, JOY has been created for both gifting and self gifting. The fabric collection includes cosmetic bags, wash bags and travel pouches finished with gold metal hardware, giving everyday essentials a really lovely upgrade.

The two tote bags offer different looks and uses. One is generously sized with carrying handles, an adjustable removable crossbody strap and an internal pocket. The other brings a softer, more decorative feel with quilting and pleated trim.

And then there are the three scarves, each with its own distinctive design and luxurious feel. They capture the collection's playful yet polished personality beautifully.

Little details, big impact

From beautiful notebooks to finishing touches for the home

Stationery lovers are in for a treat. JOY notebooks feature ribbon bookmarks and printed page edges, making them every bit as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. Top Drawer's product catalogue also features the Embrace the Seasons boxed set of four A5 notebooks, alongside the Little Bits of JOY jewellery box and a gold-finish B5 notebook.

Across the wider range, retailers will find an eye mask, jewellery box, trinket tray, purse, water bottle, five beautiful mugs and more stationery and giftable pieces. Embossed JOY tabs and gold foil stamped kraft packaging help tie the collection together, making it particularly appealing for coordinated displays and ready-to-gift purchases.

Introducing The Gold Edit

Even more JOY, with gold taking centre stage

As if the original collection was not lovely enough, Woodvale Studios introduced JOY: The Gold Edit at Top Drawer A/W 26 in September. Building on the debut range's signature golden highlights, this next chapter brings those warm metallic touches to the forefront.

It is a natural evolution of a collection that already knows how to combine playful prints with elegant finishes, giving retailers another reason to explore the range and discover new pieces to complement their existing gift and stationery offer.

Over a decade of creativity behind every detail

Based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, Woodvale Studios has spent more than ten years developing quality gifting, packaging, stationery and ceramics for major retailers and well-known brands. Its work spans everything from early design concepts to product development and delivery, supported by a dedicated team that puts design and strong customer relationships at the heart of what it does.

The studio has also worked with brands including Tache and Harlequin Additions, bringing its creative expertise to a diverse mix of products. JOY feels like a wonderful next step: the team's first opportunity to bring all that experience together in a collection under its own name.
